Los Angeles is well known for its pleasant weather. The coldest time of the year is from December to February. Rainfall, during this time of the year is very frequent. But hotels prices are too low and one can easily find decent accommodation within the range of $50-$60.

From March to May, less crowd, less cold, lack of rainfall and of course less humidity makes it the best time for visit this magical city. Lowest temperature would remain a little more than ten. By the middle of April the temperature starts to rise and by the end of May the highest temperature you are going to get is twenty three degree Celsius. The hotels prices are also at its lowest. The place is full of cheap hotels, motels and hostels. Again $50 to $60 would be enough for a nice place.
From June to August most of the tourists come here to visit. August is the hottest month of the year with a maximum temperature of twenty eight degree Celsius. Even in the peak, the cheap hotel prices don’t cross $70/night.

At the end of the August the temperature starts to fall, and also the crowd becomes less pressuring. Though hotel and airfares are still costlier than other months, but even then this is another time of the year that could easily be your time. The range for cheap hotel prices is $60-$65.
Moving within the city without a car could be either frustrating of costly. The city has a huge number of traffic, so if you are driving a car get mentally prepared and carry a good map. Also it would be a very good idea to avoid rush hours (7-10 AM and 3-7 PM).

If you are thinking about a taxi from airport to hotel, that could costly as well. There are public transportation systems, but Metro rail doesn’t cover all and Buses are too slow and frustrating.

Griffith Observatory

This world famous observatory allows the viewers to get a spectacular view of the universe. You are free to peek through the Zeiss Telescope which is on the east side of the roof. You can see the sunset with it and after dark for start gazing additional telescopes are brought it. Also don’t miss the planetarium, it gives you a whole view of the Cosmos and objects beyond earth. Sixteen kilometers North West of Downtown LA you will find this combination of park, TV and Movie studio. This is where all the action happens.
